Outlook 2016 is not updating the mailbox folders automatically

Before a person can view one of your folders, they need permission.

The mailbox you added is now in your folder list and the calendars you have permission to view will be listed in the Calendar pane.

Any other folders that this user was given permissions to access will be visible in the folder list or appropriate modules.

I don't want to accept them, I just want them to be added to the calendar, so based on a quick view I can see what meetings have been proposed to me, even though I don't know if I can make it or not.

Outlook shows the message “we didn’t find anything to show here.” when looking in a folder that shows unread items.

For more information about Exchange server permissions, see Managing Exchange Server Permissions In order to share Outlook subfolders with another user, you need to give them the desired permission (at least Reviewer) to the folder and at least Folder visible permission to every folder above the shared subfolder.

Right click on the shared folder and choose Properties.

Sharing subfolders requires a bit more effort as the subfolders are not accessible from the Open Other Users Folder dialog.

Administrators can use the tools listed below to change the permissions on many mailboxes or folders at once.

If you don't get the request in your Inbox, for example due to a rule, Sniffer will not act on it" isn't true in Outlook 2010.

I have a gazillion different rules that run and drop stuff into folders, and even the meeting invites that get moved to Deleted Items still end up on my calendar =/ Try this - File, Options - Calendar - Scroll to the bottom and find Resource Scheduling, click the button - Click automatically accept meeting requests. I can;t seem to find an answer to that Accepting them automatically would be a different thing.

When a new meeting request arrives in your outlook inbox, sniffer marks it in the outlook calendar as tentative appointment, so you will get a reminder for that request even if you forget to accept/reject the meeting request.
